Teams that fish the Mako and/or Ocean City Shark Tournament may register to compete for the title of “Ocean City Sharker of the Year”. In this division, teams have the opportunity to accumulate points over four days if they fish both tournaments. Ten points will be awarded to boats for every released mako and one point per pound for every qualifying mako weighed in.

A trophy and cash prize is awarded to the team with the highest accumulated points. The entry fee for this division is $150 per team and is valid for one or both tournaments. Anglers may enter this division at either tournament during or before the registration cutoff time.
